Please Redbox Responsibly
We love the redbox. It's so great and cheap and easy. Unless you're behind someone who didn't get on the internet first to reserve the movie(s) she wanted. Maybe she has a promo code. Even so, everything would run much more smoothly if she would look online before hand and write down a few movies she wants to see instead of slowly browsing through all of them at the kiosk (and if it's a Friday or Saturday night, they're not going to have any new releases so she shouldn't tell her kid he can get the new mario movie, because most likely, he can't.) This will save everyone a lot of time and heartache. Also, she should know, that she doesn't have to do a separate transaction for each movie, unless, again, she has 2 or more promo codes. But someone should also tell her that those promo codes you get online rarely work and if she wants to go down the list trying all of them, maybe she should do so on a day or at a time when there aren't 5 people in line behind her standing in the cold snow waiting to either pick up their reserved redbox or return one, which takes about 20 seconds.

Twenty-Ten
I made a New Year's resolution this year to write in my journal once a week on Wednesday nights. Last week Cory said to me " I kind of thought that writing in your journal included updating the blog..." Ok. Point taken. I am going to try to update the blog once a week, but that is not one of my resolutions, so it may or may not happen.

Phoenix's first haircut. He didn't love the clippers, but he did love the sucker I gave him.

We had a 4 day weekend so I guess Cory thought he could take a vacation from shaving. He's no Tom Selleck...

Phoenix's First Black Eye. He fell and hit the windowsill. It got a lot worse looking over the next couple of days.

Phoenix loves to hold Skylee. She's not so sure about it, though.

Phoenix watching his KidSongs movie with Dad and his football (with the end bitten off). Three of his favorite things.

Phoenix wearing his cousin's clothes. We were at Cory's Parent's house for the super bowl and his sister and her husband and 2 girls were up. One of her girls was taking a bath and Phoenix was throwing toys into the tub. He threw one so hard that it launched him over the side of the tub and he got soaked. It was hilarious. Cory's sister let us borrow her 3-year-old daughter's clothes for the ride home. They actually fit him pretty well.

Skylee's Blessing Day. I saved that bracelet for this day, and it almost didn't fit her chubby little wrist! Also, she is wearing my blessing dress and that almost didn't fit her either! I had to have my mom help me do up the buttons in the back because I couldn't get them.
