Skylee is One!!!

It has already been a month since my last post

It gets me every time! I always load the pictures in the wrong order. Oh well. I failed to mention this in my last post, but my little sister got married and the SF Giants won the World Series! Both very exciting, and both things that will probably only happen once in my lifetime. I have been a Giant's fan since I was born (believe it). I never thought this day would come. I was so excited when they made it to the World Series that I was convinced that we were going to go to SF for a game until I went to buy tickets and found that the cheapest ones for $400 a piece. Would have been fun, but not fun enough to spend $1000 just on tickets! Cory has also been a Giant's fan forever (well, since his dad's best high school friend pitched for them in the late '80's). Cory and my dad bonded the first time they met because it somehow came up that when Cory was younger, he had a stuffed animal named Nuschler (Will Clark's middle name). For those of you who don't know, Will Clark is one of the greatest Giants ever and I'm pretty sure he's my dad's favorite player of all time. But don't quote me on that.
Trenna's wedding was beautiful, and she, of course, was beautiful. Her husband is the nicest guy ever. We're happy to have him in the family. Here are a few pictures from the reception in Weiser. They had a "Candy Bar" so Phoenix was in heaven. Skylee would have rather been sleeping :-)

Ok

So I bought a new camera (actually an old junky one) off of craigslist. I kind of thought if I bought one, I would find my old (actually not old at all) one. It didn't happen that way. So now I have a camera but I rarely get a picture that isn't blurry. Here are some pictures from the last few months, anyway.

Phoenix thought it would be funny to try to sit in Skylee's bumbo with her. She thought it was funny too... at first.

We found an awesome spot on the Boise river off of the greenbelt and went there a bunch of times this summer. Phoenix loved throwing rocks in the water. So did Cory.

Skylee's getting all grown up. She loves to throw/roll the ball back and forth. She just figure out the walker recently and LOVES to push it around the house. She gets ticked if she runs into something and gets stuck, though. She sure knows how to throw a tantrum.

Phoenix is always into mischief. This time, he found the bag of suckers that we bought for our road trips this summer.

We went to the Boise Zoo last week. It was supposed to be one of the last nice days we were going to have this fall and it was beautiful. I thought that I had uploaded more pictures than this, from the Zoo, but I guess not.

The kids were dragons for halloween and it was so fun. Phoenix loved it.

Lost

I lost my camera. It's been gone for a couple of weeks now, or maybe only one week. It was a Tuesday night. Last Tuesday? I can't remember. Seems like forever.

Boise Hawks Kids Club:

Best thing ever. It's only $7 to join and the kids get into any Sunday-Tuesday game for free and they have a Kids Club Camp for them. We signed Phoenix up this year and here are some pictures from the camp. There were three Hawk's players and a trainer there. They did little drills with the kids (fielding grounders, throwing, batting, etc), let them run the bases, and played wiffle ball with them. Phoenix had a blast and they players loved him. He was by far the youngest one there. He made a couple of new friends, Carlos and Jones. Carlos is a pitcher and (Richard) Jones is the short stop. He can't stop talking about them. At least 5 times a day he says "Hawks Team, baseball game, Carlos!" He loves to look for them at the games and give them bones. They signed a baseball for Phoenix and Cory put into a case for him. He wants to look at it at least once every day. It is the cutest. Here are some pics:

Summer Stuff

A's game. Looks warm and sunny but it's not! They were playing the Red Sox so that was fun. Lots of Red Sox fans. We saw Dallas Braden pitch (the one who told A Rod to get off his mound, and threw a perfect game).

We also went to Lava Hot Springs with 3 other couples and no kids last weekend. It was super fun. How many pictures did I take? Zero!
